Kidd Wes got his first taste of hip-hop culture through Detroit's underground rap battle scene, similar to another popular steel city native, Grammy Award winning Eminem. The moniker that he uses today was given to him by a seasoned battle rapper due to the fact that his middle name is "Wesley" and at the tender age of 13 he was exchanging big-boy bars with local opponents twice his age. Known for his exceptional writing, production, and rapping to see him perform is to experience a legend in the making. Fortunately for you the current Miami,FL resident will be performing at A3C 2013 this year, to back up my previous statement.
