Ever since the release of Reflection Eternal's Train of Thought in 2000, fans haven't heard much output from beat-smith Hi-Tek and prose-spitter Talib Kweli... until now. Fans can now officially mark May 18th on their calendars as the release date for the groups' latest album, Revolutions Per Minute.
The Brooklyn/Cincinnati duo's first warning shot came in earlier this year with Just Begun featuring buzz-heavy emcees Jay Electronica and A3C grad J. Cole, along with heavy-hitter Mos Def. The formula remains untouched with Hi-Tek handling production and Talib Kweli delivering brain food. And with select additional features like Bun B and Bilal, things will undoubtedly be kept nice and cripsy.
