3-day passes officially go on sale today for the 2009 A3C Hip Hop Festival. In its fifth year, the 3-day festival will take place across multiple venues in the East Atlanta Village and Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta, October 1-3, 2009.
A limited number of 3-day passes for $33 are available for advance purchase through www.TicketAlternative.com. The passes entitle attendees to prioritized access to most A3C hosted concerts, including early admission and exclusive access to several special events.
Brian Knott, A3C Hip Hop Festival founder explains, “With the change to a multi-venue format our goal is to bring shows that would typically be held in much larger venues into the small club environment. To us this is how live Hip Hop is best experienced. We are working hard to create the ultimate festival atmosphere and offering preferred treatment to the people that support us by purchasing our 3-day pass. We expect the demand for many of our shows to far exceed the capacity of specific venues so we wanted to provide a way to take care of the fans that take care of us by buying early. By making a limited number of these 3-day passes available in advance we are making sure that the fans most motivated to be at A3C have the best possible chance of seeing everything they want to see at A3C.”
In response to the economic stress of many festival-goers and live music fans, the A3C team worked hard to keep the 3-day passes at the same affordable price as the previous year.
“We have some amazing partners this year and a lot of artists that have really worked with us to help us keep the ticket price low. I think everyone working with us understands that people are finding themselves in a different place financially than they have been in the past and we have gotten a ton of support from artists willing to share the burden with fans in an effort to create the best possible fan experience” says Knott.
The A3C has been fast at work for months with their partners developing day and nighttime music showcases, art installations, equipment demonstrations, street dance events, panel discussions and networking parties in an effort to bring together many of the most relevant faces in Hip Hop culture.
Day and nighttime events will be announced at www.a3cfestival.com this week and will continue to be added all the way up until doors open on October 1st. Tickets can be purchased starting at 10 a.m. on July 7th by visiting www.TicketAlternative.com.
