Seriously: 1:30pm on Sunday, October 4th and I'm just getting home. This was a mind-blowing weekend and I need to get some sleep. Before I do, we at the A3C would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who made this event happen.
First and most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out and had a good time. You make this event possible and, without your support year-after-year, the A3C could never happen.
Second, thank you to all of the artists who came out to rock this year (all 200+). We know that you don't do it for the money because, let's face it, we don't have very much to spend. You traveled from all over the country, some of you paying out of your own pockets, to perform with us. Incredible.
We could feel the love, dedication and selflessness at every showcase this weekend and it absolutely makes the A3C what it is.
Third, we would like to thank our sponsors, partners and venues for sharing our vision and bringing it into reach. We've come along way and we look forward to growing with you in 2010.
Finally, thank you to our exceptional staff of volunteers. You killed it. No major incidents, blow-ups, technical meltdowns, or the like. I hope you had a chance to at least see some of the shows you were looking forward to.
For anyone I've left out: thank you. I'm going to sleep.
