What impact has Class Static made on the industry?

Class Static values music creators work and go above and beyond to educate them about the importance of protecting their music and how to collect all their royalties. Many of our clients were not aware that their music must be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office to have legal protection on their songs. Class Static is one of the only publishing administration companies that protect client’s music first and then collect their royalties. We help our songwriters and producers save time by offering them a one-stop-shop to handle their publishing administration and copyright registrations.

What type of legacy do you want to leave for Class Static?

I want to leave knowledge and support for songwriters and producers in the music industry. My goal is to help others build their foundation.

Aside from colleagues at Class Static, who do you admire in the industry?

I admire rapper and entrepreneur Master P (Percey Miller) and rapper and entrepreneur Yo-Yo (Yolanda Whitaker). I admire them both because they never gave up on their core principles that make them who they are today and their ability to stay relevant.

What are you doing that’s innovative?

Class Static is in the process of building some exciting partnerships that are going to benefit our clients tremendously.

What motivates and drives you to continue to improve and innovate?

Anytime I can help other people accomplish their goals motivates me. Music creators are their best when they know about the business side of the music industry. That is why we have structured our services to help with educating people about what they need to know on the business side of the music industry.
