Sometimes you just have to pull a Bryson Tiller and say "Don't!"
- Don’t arrive late. Be on time or before time.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your ticket. While everyone else is attending shows and events, you’re going to be home watching Netflix.
- Don’t sell your ticket because of weather conditions. Remember weather is temporary… Atlanta weather is bipolar, it’ll be a quick 10-minute mini hurricane and then it’ll go back to normal.
- Don’t be mad that you didn’t get the VIP ticket.
- Don’t book your room last minute. You will be upset with yourself.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to book your flight. Prices can get pricey real quick. Once day a ticket will be $50 and the next day it will be $345.
- Don’t forget to UBER or LYFT. Traffic will be crazy and it will stop you from wasting time trying to find a park.
- Don’t be afraid of public transportation. The MARTA is very efficient and will beat ATL bumper-to-bumper traffic. But for those who insist on driving there are several free and paid parking lots near the A3C Conference Center and Festival Grounds. Free Parking a few blocks from A3C Festival Grounds at National Parks Department @ 423 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE.There is a paid parking at A3C Conference Center. Parking for a day is $15.
- Don’t overlook people. You never know who you’ll be standing next to in a room.
- Don’t be “that person” blacked out on IG. SNAP. FB Live… all of that.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to get your media access.
- Don’t bring your little 16-year-old cousin to a 18+ or 21+ event. They will be hating from outside of the building. *A3C’s Conference Center, Pro-Audio Conference Center and Festival Grounds are All Ages.
- Don’t forget to get tickets with your friends for 20% off. (I’m trying to figure out why you have purchased your ticket yet *sideeye*)
- Don’t ask someone if you can perform the day of an event. You know better. Do better next time, Tyrone.
- Don’t go to just any ol’ restaurant. It may be a famous tourist spot but the sanitation rate could be in the 30’s. Yes… the 30’s.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to be a vendor. It doesn’t matter if you’re a food truck or a t-shirt slanger… if you’re late for registration, it’s over.
- Don’t come with lame people. If your friends are lame… leave them where they are at. You will meet dope people doing the festival and conference.
- Don’t miss the major acts. There will be a lot of surprises!
- Don’t miss the speakers! There will be some amazing people giving out gems.
- Don’t forget to have fun! This weekend will hit you fast and there will be a lot of events taking place. Don’t get overwhelmed, make a schedule and make sure you make the most out of this experience.
