Where are you from?
Atlanta, GA
How has your city and influenced your music?
In every way.
What song, video or project are you most proud of to date?
I'm most proud of all my songs. Everything from as far back as "Same Damn Time" up to the new Future stuff. I'm really grateful about being able to get all of these placements and do what I love at the same time.
What do you enjoy about bout being a hip-hop artist?
I guess since it seems like everybody wants to be Hip Hop too, then it's like we're trendsetters...and that's cool. But we don't get a lot credit for it.
What can people expect from you over the next 6 months?
A lot of stuff, doing more work with Future. And you know me and Metro [Boomin'] still cooking up stuff. Plus I'm into DJ'ing heavy now, so I want to do something new with a few mixes, but do it my way. As far as producing goes, I got some new music with Travis Scott on the way and a I'm working on a bunch of other stuff.
What advice would you give to yourself a few years ago?
Be careful what you sign.
What do you most look forward to about A3C Festival & Conference?
I just like the atmosphere and being around cool people. This year is kind of different because it's not like I'm the same person I was last year or even two years ago. Right now I'm as big as I've ever been and it should be a lot more fun. Plus I enjoy just being out here in the city. I can't just do that on the regular like I used to.
