GRAMMY U will launch into the new school year with a kick-off party at A3C.

GRAMMY U Network is a program for full-time students who are currently enrolled in a college, university or trade school and either work or want to work in the recording industry after graduation. It offers its members opportunities for networking, educational programs and performance opportunities.
The party will include an On the Couch Session with 9th Wonder and special performances by Away Team, Actual Proof, Big Remo, Kaze, Skyzoo, Buckshot, Jean Grae, Murs and others presented by Red Bull Music Academy.
Free giveaways, appetizers and drinks are being advertised, so I know all you college students are gonna be there for that if nothing else!
And if you don't have your 3-day A3C pass yet, current GRAMMY U members can buy them for only $20 so be sure to get that in advance.
Also, GRAMMY U, in conjunction with Waste Management, is asking people to go green by bringing their e-waste to the party for recycling. They will be collecting CDs/DVDs, jewel cases, cell phones and chargers, MP3 players, digital cameras, and handheld game systems.
