Christopher Wallace - RIP.

Posted by Andy Pitre on Mar 9

It's kind of funny to think that, even 14 years after his death, Biggie can still capture 2 trending topics on Twitter, especially considering the fact that the buzzword "social media" didn't event exist in 1997 (and most Biggie fans back then had either no internet, or at best a 28k AOL dial-up connection).

You have to imagine that a lot of the kids on the Twitter today were barely even alive in '97 (shoot, I was only 14).

It's also CRAZY to think that Biggie was on 24 when he died. What an unbelievable legacy to leave behind, especially for such a young dude. His music is so classic that it doesn't even sound classic. One of the best to ever do it.

Let's all take a sec to reminisce. And when you're done, have a listen to my favorite Biggie Freestyle.
