The Recording Academy, the people behind The GRAMMYs, do a lot more than an annual awards show.
Tuesday, November 23rd, MusiCares, a division of The Recording Academy, in conjunction with Smile Programs will be providing dental screenings, teeth cleaning, and complete x-rays to uninsured music professionals in need.
These treatments will be provided free of charge to pre-screened, pre-approved applicants on a first-come-first-served basis. Those wishing to take advantage of this service must be able to document their work in the music industry for at least five years or have credited contribution to six commercially released recordings or videos (singles).
