Are you a blogger? A Journalist? A new-wave Social-Media Guru?

No matter how you've decided to label your obsession for all things relating to media & society, you're bound to have a notebook full of new resources and ideas by the end of this year's A3C Conference schedule. If you think you're made for media, you'll want to be in the right place at the right time once it's time to shake hands with some of the industry's biggest influencers. To make things a bit easier for you, here are six A3C conference events to add to your schedule for those with dreams of making a digital impact:

1. Digital Marketing: What's Working in 2016

Need to tighten your grip on the reins of social media and online marketing? Tune in to the discussion to learn what works (and what doesn't) these days.

Wednesday October 5th @ 12:30 PM
Room One (Loudermilk Center)

2. XXL's The Break

If you have dreams of creating your own podcast, or simply love some good audio content from time to time, Miranda Johnson and Vanessa Satten will join A3C to discuss their success with "The Break," a XXL original series created to highlight up and coming rappers.

Wednesday October 5th @ 2:00 PM
Presentation Hall (Loudermilk Center)

3. More Than a Blog: Managing an Independent Media Company

The media industry changes with every day, and your paycheck is dependent on whether or not you can keep up. What's a journalist to do once they've run out of engaging content ideas? Find out by joining in on the panel discussion.

Wednesday October 5th @ 5:00 PM
Room Two (Loudermilk Center)

4. Bloggers & Writers Meetup

If you don't learn anything else from your A3C experience, remember that networking is key. Join Atlanta's roster of elite media personnel as we converse with like-minded individuals, share war stories, and discuss issues within the media industry. Oh, and bring business cards. Duh.

Thursday October 6th @ 11:00 AM
The Lab (Loudermilk Center)

5. Social Media Strategy: Using Social Media isn't Necessarily Marketing

Well, someone had to say it! As effective as it can be, simply promoting things through your social accounts isn't a solid marketing plan. This panel is all about zooming out of small-minded social strategy to get the big picture marketing results you've been searching for.

6. The Future of Journalism: Covering Hip-Hop Culture

As you transition from writing things down at the conference to turning things up at a showcase, you'll want to learn the best way to approach hip-hop media coverage from people who've dedicated their life's work to the craft.

Friday October 7th @ 2:00 PM
Room One (Loudermilk Center)
