Hatty Maines - (@hattymaines)

Hatty Maines is ready to change the game, and we're excited to present his newest track "S.O.S." Standing for 'Same Ol Shit,' the track decides the take the young rappers lyrical prowess to the next game on a traditional trap beat, resulting in a song with unique style and prowess.

There's no word on what exactly his next moves are in terms of projects, but if "S.O.S" is any indication, he's definitely an artist to watch out for in 2016.

Songwriter. Rapper. Performer. Composer. Millennial Dreamer. Are only a few words that begin to describe the artist Mac Backwards. Over the past 10+ years Cam or Mac Backwards has not only written for and worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, but he has evolved into a solid lyricist in his own right. Knowing he is no where near reaching his full potential, MAC BACKWARDS is constantly in pursuit of greatness and everything this life has to offer.

Rene Brown (@renebrown)

Every few years you come across an artist, and you wonder if you've been living under a rock, or how you've managed to miss their come up. By way of Jackson, Mississippi, Los Angeles hip hop artist Rene Brown is one of the dopest MC’s you’ve ever heard. Her love for rapping began at the young age of 10. Growing up with a single mother and the only mixed kid in the neighborhood, Rene found herself constantly fighting to defend her identity. She would lock herself in a room listening to Tupac, DMX, and Eminem.

When Rene moved to LA at 15, trouble had no problem finding her. She quickly made the decision to join the military when she turned 18, but even that didn’t stop her from her first love, music. Rene recorded her very first track titled “Home,” through a Skype headpiece and her laptop while being deployed in Afghanistan on a 15 month tour.

She began releasing tracks one by one on her MySpace, moving on to the now more popular Soundcloud, which garnered attention from all sorts of listeners. One of them being TDE’s very own Top Dawg. He invited her to open on the Oxymoron World Tour. She made her biggest impression with fans all over the world, touring alongside Schoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad. Since then, Rene Brown has released her debut EP Keep To Myself and a weekly music series, "Who's Checkin Wednesdays."

Rene released The Wave EP, produced by Ducko McFli, Red McFly, and Tommy Ross. It's her most cohesive body of work, narrated solely by her mother, and gives her listeners a more personal look into her struggles growing up.

Be on the lookout for The Golden Hour Vol 1coming soon.
