What inspired you to start curating shows?
I have a show on K975 (Radio One Raleigh) called Carolina Waves Radio, where I spotlight/ feature upcoming indie artists. Soon after, I started hosted open mics, and eventually curating shows from the talent I came across. It was an organic transition into events to provide additional platforms for Carolina Artists.
How does your show stand out?
The Carolina Waves Showcase stands out because not only is the lineup full of NC's next acts to blow, but it's full of great performers, who promise to give a great show. It's a diverse display of Carolina talent. Plus it's hosted by yours truly, and E. Sudd.
Artist to watch?
Allum! LOL. But specifically look out for NC's #1 Collective, Krawzbonez. Also Raleigh female duo, BBO with her hit single, "40s and Rugers," and SCMG's Toosii.
