A true Morehouse man and New Jersey native, Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins, is a Broadcast Anchor and Editorial Producer at Complex Media. He is the lead on-air correspondent as well as writer and producer for Complex News. His day-to-day operations include spreading culture and trends from music, style, sports, and current events through live reporting, interviews, and daily video segments.
Before working with Complex, Brandon built most of his foundation as the Content and Programs Manager for Mass Appeal. Here he was able to help redevelop the brand of Mass Appeal by creating innovative video ideas and creative programs. His contributions to the publication also included photography, and writing for both online and print versions of the magazine. He also gained prior experience as an intern for Steve Stoute’s Translation media agency as well as working at Deacon with their record label and creative content studio.
Brandon is always looking to report on the latest events in our culture from race relations in Ferguson, Missouri to SXSW Music Festival. His creative insight for a change in our community and keeping the youth in touch with what’s going on in our society has solidified him as one of the leading voices in media.
