2015 A3C Artist Submissions Are Open... and Free!

sonicbids1We are very excited to announce that we have partnered with Sonicbids to open 2015 A3C Festival artist submissions for FREE, until August 31st.  If you want to perform at A3C, submitting via Sonicbids [or being book on a showcase] is the only way!

We have been working with Sonicbids since 2006.  We joined Sonicbids because the A3C team emails were being filled with requests to perform, and EPKs.  Sonicbids provided A3C with a platform to find great artists without spending ALL of our time trying to navigate an inbox full of artists info.  There has always (until now) been a small fee, usually between $10-25 to submit.  The fee helped limit the number of submissions, compensate the team for their work (it takes a LOT of time to review submissions and select the best artists) and helped weed out some artists that do not take their craft seriously.

However, this year we made the artist submissions FREE until Aug 31st, and we did it for several reasons:

  1. We don't want any talented artists to have an excuse NOT to submit
  2. We don't want artists to feel like they are "paying to play."  We just want the best artists.  We never have, and never will, offered slots for money and frown on the practice.
  3. We are all about providing the best experience for artists.  Although this isn't much, we hope this helps  :)

Since 2006 we have discovered some amazing artists through Sonicbids submissions, including: Young Thug, Trinidad James, Rhymefest, Ca$h Out, Que, Black Sheep, Tanya Morgan, CJ Fly of Pro Era & Propaganda... to name a few.

We take artists submissions very seriously and do our best to find the most talented, unique and promising artists from around the world... that's probably why people have such nice things to say about us...
