K. Sparks is performing on Friday, Oct 8th at the Kevin Nottingham showcase.
K. Sparks is a rap artist, music producer, and ghost writer that has inked and crafted several songs for various artist. With his passionate tone, and sincere lyrics, it is clear he is destined to be one of Hip Hops future stars. At the age of 15 he started performing in various talent venues and began to create a buzz for himself within the Queens area. K. Sparks later began recording several original songs, and releasing numerous mixtapes. To date he has been featured on over 400 mixtapes, released 10 Albums, and also released 20 mixtapes. Continuing his reign in the underground K. Sparks started an online viral monthly series entitled Manic Mondays. For Manic Mondays K. Sparks released a new original song to the Internet every Monday for an entire year. K. Sparks then went on to become featured in The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype Column, MTV Mixtape Mondays, BET, and featured on over 1,000 websites. In 2005 K. Sparks incorporated his own music production and song writing company Double Up Entertainment. Double Up Entertainment has produced and arranged several songs for various artist within the music industry, and continues to stretch the boundaries of conventional music. K. Sparks determination and hard work eventually caught the attention of Hip Hop enthusiast Kevin Nottingham. K. Sparks later inked a recording contract with Kevin Nottingham under HiPNOTT Records and released his A Day In The Life Album with Producer G.C. With his unique song writing abilities, and roster of talented artist/producers, K. Sparks is definitely a future star on the rise.
