The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc is proud to present their
newest community project entitled, Project Press Release. Project Press Release looks to enhance school pride throughout select DeKalb county high schools while educating students on different dimensions of the music and entertainment industries. Students have been educated on entrepreneurial skills in music creation, engineering, marketing, branding, and management. Select high school students have been chosen amongst their peers to create a three song compilation consisting of songs on texting and driving, being tobacco free, and a personal theme that will serve as a “press release” for the students and their school.

For this project, Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta plans to engage over 6,000 students between the ages of 14 to 18.These students will ultimately become project ambassadors as they support the teams that represent their respective environments. They're honored to team with mainstream artists and industry professionals such as Cyhi Da Prynce, Zip K, Scotty Atl, Translee, and LaLa Sheppard for this event. All of which either graduated or have ties to the DeKalb County School which they have taken under their wing as coaches for our budding entrepreneurs.

Thursday, May 5th, each participating school will compete to receive recognition from not only their peers, but prominent music recording artists and professionals. Students will be judged on their ability to produce tracks, create an intriguing business plan to promote their compilation, and their overall performance during their final show. Every major step of the project will be documented by Champion Dreams Productions and distributed to multiple media outlets.

The winning team will win free studio time, customized apparel, and the opportunity for their school’s uniform to be Redeveloped by fashion extraordinaire Tim Lewis and a select G.O.O.D Music recording artist for the upcoming school year.
