El Da Sensei and The Returners reunite on the forthcoming album, "Global Takeover 2: Nu World". The album is a follow up to their 2008 project, "Global Takeover: The Beginning", that showcased El over relentless boom bap provided by the highly skilled production duo of The Returners. "Nu World" is no different as El and The Returner's craft another album armed to the teeth with hard hitting East Coast beats, turntable wizardry and aggressive lyricism. The album also features a heavy guest list such as Treach (of Naughty by Nature), Sean Price, Reks, John Robinson, Akrobatik, Bekay & Tiye Phoenix that adds another layer of dopeness to the project!
The first single, "Knowledge Be The Key" is a fitting introduction to the intense heat they are bringing on the album. Powered by a pulsating piano loop, El and The Returners are joined by Rakka of Dilated Peoples as they create a furious head-nodder that is official! The b-side "2 The Death" is another emphatic banger as The Returners provide an obese track for El to breakdown how he has maintained over the years. These two joints are a definite reminder that El Da Sensei & The Returners have one serious album on deck!!
