SEVEN FOR SEVEN: PATEN LOCKE STOPS FIRST AT THE KROGER TO BUY FUEL (SIX FOR $1) FOR HIS "SUPER RAMEN ROCKETSHIP"

Not that it matters, but nobody here is sure as to precisely when young master Locke retired the “MC Therapy” brand in favor of the name on his social security card. What does matter (and quite a bit, actually) is that this cat- who’s still independent as f**k regardless of having rhymed circles around every headliner for whom he’s ever signed on as “support talent”- is a prime candidate for inclusion in TV One’s “Unsung” series, in league with Bootsy Collins and Roger Troutman, as a pioneer who may or may not get the shine he deserves in this lifetime…As of October 2011, he’ll have dropped knowledge at seven out of seven A3C installations, first as a member of ASAMOV, then the touring DJ for the Perceptionists, then alongside Batsauce and Lady Daisy in The Smile Rays, and now…finally…as a solo performer/consumate pro, keeping it humble and on the level even when it meant driving all the way from his home in Duvall County, FL to Atlanta to rock a 10 minute set, outside, in the middle of the day. “Super Ramen Rocketship,” his first solo release, is available on Tres Records, and features gems like “Wadaap!” You should shut the hell up and go cop it, forthwith, sucka.
