Having the world’s most famous athlete sing along to your track with the enthusiasm of a teenager in an Instagram video is a great way to pick up some new fans. Back in April, LeBron James did this exact thing for fellow Ohio native Jerreau. LeBron and his teammates loved the track “Really Got It” so much, it ended up being the anthem to their 2016 championship campaign, as Jerreau even invited to perform during Game 4 of this year’s finals.
Headed to get that work in on our day off bumping the homie @jerreau new LP "Never How You Plan". What's a day off though!?!? Let's go people. Don't let nothing stop u from having fun, working hard and smiling! #StartingHoopingForTheNikeCheck #StriveForGreatness #RWTW #NIT

Columbus, Ohio rapper isn’t a newcomer to the rap game. As the front man of rap trio Fly.Union, alongside rappers/producers Iyeball and Jay Swifa, Jerreau handled the lyrical heavy lifting. Between 2010 and 2014 the trio released four albums which featured collaborations with Willie the Kid, Big Sean, BJ the Chicago Kid and Pac Div.
In April of this year, Jerreau released his first solo effort, Never How You Plan. The 14-track opus sees the young emcee lamenting on life, luxury and societal ills over stellar production. Whether talking about Rolexes or the city school to prison pipeline, Jerreau always entertains with silky smooth flows and witty metaphors.
LeBron’s relationship with Jerreau dates back before the start of his solo career. Fly.Union’s “Long Run” found it’s way on the soundtrack of NBA 2K14 which King James curated himself.
