Although A3C Festival & Conference is now only two weeks away, we’re still keeping the announcements going strong for our featured performers and guests. You may be wondering who could possibly be on the list that we haven’t named yet, but it really does only get better. Atlanta natives will be happy to know that we’ve added Cap 1 to the official showcase.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Cap 1 started his music career known as a talented freestyler. As he gained experienced, he evolved into a songwriter and producer for a number of artists, most notably Young Berg, producing the hit single “Sexy Can I”. As he continued to build a name for himself, he caught the attention of 2 Chainz. He was subsequently signed to Chainz’s label, The Real University, receiving guidance from the Atlanta based Street Execs management team.
Cap 1 has been noted on a number of 2 Chainz’s records, including 2 Chainz’s breakout mixtape Codeine Cowboy and the hit single “Where U Been”. Having built a strong foundation in the Atlanta market, he has gone on to achieve success with a number of his own singles, including the songs “Reckless and “Gang Bang.
Fans can check out Cap 1 at “Who Got The Sauce?”, a showcase presented by Zaytoven and Digital Dope on Thursday, October 6th. The event will take place at Cafe Circa on Edgewood in the Old Fourth Ward at 10:00 PM.
