There is a lot of information in books that you won’t just find floating around the internet. Here are three books that you should read before the end of the year.
The 50th Law – Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson
Have you ever heard of the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene? It is about book that is very talked about from office professionals to people who work in the entertainment industry. In The 50th Law,  Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Robert Greene collaborated. In the foreword it says that 50 and Greene talked about war, terrorism and the music industry.   The book is about being fearless and hustling for the life that you want.  On the back of the book it says “fear nothing”
My Voice: A Memoir – Angie Martinez
Angie Martinez is one of the most recognized and respected voices on radio and is often referred to as the “Voice of New York.” From working with Hot 97 to Power 105, Angie Martinez has over 20 years of experience as an on-air host. Martinez’s book gives in-depth view of her life and life in the radio industry. It also has exclusive information about her interview of Tupac that was never aired. Angie Martinez used this book as a way to tell everyone about her life off and on-air.  This book is definitely about her truth. Plus how many people do you know have had J.Cole write the foreword for their book?
Decoded -  Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter
Decoded gives a background to Jay-Z’s of the side of Mr. Carter that a lot of people don’t know about. It gives a deeper background into who he is as a person and artist. It touched on issues from his past like the lack of his father, his street history, and deciphers some of his lyrics. He even gives music business advice about dealing with the industry. We all know that Jay-Z is a mastermind when it comes to music but this book will give a deeper look into how he became the man that he is today.
