Over the past several years we have moved A3C around Atlanta in search of an area we could call home.  Unfortunately, we do not have a 6th street, like in Austin, TX.  It has made some A3C veterans wonder "why did you ever leave Masquerade?"  There is a very long answer, BUT in short... we out grew the Masquerade in capacity and function.  We can't host a conference and festival at Masquerade, and we want to offer attendees from around the world and opportunity to see and experience Atlanta.  This has taken A3C to East Atlanta Village, Little 5 Points, Midtown, Edgewood and back again... BUT this is year 1 of the A3C Festival & Conference as (we hope) it will be enjoyed and experienced for many years to come.

When we launched A3C, over 10 years ago, there were no bars, clubs or venues on Edgewood Ave.  A year ago the Atlanta Streetcar didn't exist.   Atlanta has invested time, resources and money to turn the Old 4th Ward into a cultural hub.  That is why A3C Festival & Conference is fully embracing the Old 4th Ward and Edgewood corridor (Woodruff Park through Krog Street) as the home of the A3C Festival & Conference.  This year, you will NOT have to drive around!  You can walk, or take the Atlanta Streetcar, to the A3C Conference Center to the A3C Festival Grounds to nearly ALL A3C venues and events.  The ONLY area removed from Old 4th Ward will be the venues in East Atlanta Village, and we will have shuttles back and forth each night!  If you are traveling from outside of A3C, you can stay at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel and never have to get into a car for 5 days (crowd rejoices)....
