Today, 2dopeboyz premiered the full album stream of A3C Volume 5. The A3C compilation series, which is released through iHipHop Distribution’s partnership with the A3C Hip-Hop Festival, has been influential within the genre, serving as a barometer for which artists will become renowned staples in the ever-changing hip-hop landscape.
Past compilation artists include Big K.R.I.T, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown, G-Eazy, Curren$y, Action Bronson, Vince Staples, The Underachievers, Mick Jenkins, Sir Michael Rocks, Deniro Farrar, Chris Webby, Smoke DZA, Trademark Da Skydiver, Cam Meekins, Bodega Bamz, Freddie Gibbs, Boldy James, Alex Wiley, Trinidad James, OCD: Moosh & Twist, XV, Black Dave, and Dave East, just to name a few. For this reason, the compilation has seen praise from various outlets including iTunes, as its editors raved, “the A&R rep has done a commendable job, cherry-picking some of the most promising, would-be rap stars from countless wannabes.”
The fifth installment in this compilation series includes 50 tracks from Tunji Ige, Manolo Rose, 2 Eleven, Case Arnold, U-God, Cannibal Ox, Trev Rich, ProbCause, Dee Goodz, Ramaj Eroc, WebsterX, Noveliss (of Clear Soul Forces), Max Wonders and more, with production from Grammy Award winner Doc Ish, DJ Burn One, Fame School Slim, and many others.
