This week saw the release of the much anticipated Skyzoo and Torae collab album, Barrell Brothers. The indie lyricists came out swinging with a record release party and monster performance at NYC’s S.O.B.’s.
The duo is no stranger to the A3C stage, performing together in 2012. It’s felt like a long 2 years waiting for their first LP to drop, but with beautiful production by DJ Premiere, Illmind, and Oh-No crushing that classic New York sound, plus guest spots by likes of Guilty Simpson, it’s obvious some serious work has been done in that time.
