A3C is known for giving the best talent around the world an opportunity to shine. As always we shut down the Edgewood area with the dopest showcases around. The Stankonia presents: Spaceships on Edgewood show was filled with upcoming talent all showing a distinct sound from smooth euphoric melodies to in your face trap music.
The high energy trap princess, E.Chapo opened the show up with a big trap sound that had the crowd jumping as soon as you stepped in the door. She performed several songs off of her recent mixtape “Retake,” including “Bottom Feeder,” No Badge,” and “Keyboard Man,” all of which had strong bass that is bound to have you jigging without trying.
Tyler Gartzman took the stage introducing his single "Since ’06"ft. Trinidad Jame$ over the ill production of Chris Fresh from 808 Mafia. Although the production had a rough trap feel, Gartzman gave listeners the unexpected with in-depth lyrical content on struggles outside of rap that everybody could relate too yet still keep the crowd hype.
He also performed an unreleased track, Kobe that gave an authentic hip-hop vibe with an ambient boom bap instrumental and unique flow as the crowd chanted lyrics “Came a long way from empty pockets. They don’t even know the whole story.”
The Soul God, Big Cheeko also held it down for the independent Atlanta artist by giving a chill yet swag filled performance of "Poolside." This wavy track was a stoner’s soundtrack and would put you in a peaceful mood all while supplying quality lyrics.
Other dope artists who touched the stage were Torae, Chilly Chills, and Marco Pave’. Overall it was a show filled with great talent from Atlanta that gave a new energy to the city. Be sure to keep up with these artists via SoundCloud. You never know who could be the next to blow.
