The Action Accelerator presented by the Center for Civic Innovation seeks to find, develop and invest in creative ideas that use music, art and hip-hop culture to advance social justice and civic engagement in underserved communities.
Since 2015, more than 650 applications have been submitted, 22 non-profits have gone through the Action Accelerator and over $40,000 has been allocated.
“I think the Action Summit is what makes A3C stand out from the rest of music festivals and conferences, this aspect represents its investment and involvement in elevating the community consciousness in a real way.” - Stic of Dead Prez
A3C Action chooses 5 finalists to join the Center for Civic Innovation in Atlanta for the A3C Festival & Conference. These five finalists from across the US are flown to Atlanta to participate in the Action Accelerator, where they strengthen their business model, revenue model, and the way they talk about their work.
At the end of the week, the finalists participate in a pitch showcase, the A3C Action Pitch Night, in front of a high profile audience of investors, artists, partners, peers, and community leaders. A3C invests $10,000+ into ideas with the greatest potential for impact and success.
