Girls Love Hip Hop 2 is prepped to showcase some of the best up and coming rappers in the game. But what makes this showcase a little different from most of the other shows that will be going on at this year’s A3C is that it features an all female line-up.

The show has been curated by Queen Bobbi, music industry renaissance woman whose duties include public relations, artist relations and management. Recently we had a chance to talk with her to get some insight on this must-see showcase.

What is the concept behind for your showcase for A3C?

I was inspired by the Lil Kim Not Tonight Remix video. All of the dopest female entertainers on set having a good time. I am using all classic female collaborations to promote the showcase. From Set It Off, to "Lady Marmalade" I wanted to remind the world of the greatness WE have created.

Feminism, Sensual, Street

3D Na'Tee, Lee Mazin, Mélat, Kodie Shane (Sail Team), BBOD, ASIAN DOLL Olawumii

Are there any surprises or pop-ups that might take place on-site during your show?

A huge surprise. If i tell you then it won't be a surprise.

What is going to set your showcase apart from hundreds of other events happening during the festival?

For starters, I can count on one hand the amount of all female line ups. Plus, GLHH will have some of everything we love about female hip-hop on one stage.

What kind of experience do you want fans to leave with after attending your showcase?

I expect for the attendees to leave feeling good about the state of Female Hip Hop. It's a hard market to break into but we have some serious contenders on our stage.

What are you looking forward to the most this year at A3C 2016?

All of the dope female events. This may be the first time that there is at least 5 events targeting the P power!

What are a few tips you can share for upcoming promoters and curators wanting to work in the music business?

Document EVERYTHING. you never know who is watching. Stay ahead of the curve. You should know what will pop before everyone else. Spend money. The old saying "You have to spend money to make money" holds true in the business. If you're not investing in your brand then who will?
