Initial eVennts, LLC + Soles4Souls, Inc. have partnered in a 30 day effort to collect 11K shoes for those in need, "Without Sole:Everything You Couldn't Do Without Shoes." In honor of the Hip Hop movement that is being celebrated this weekend at the Masquerade, Initial eVennts thought it was a no brainer to combine efforts. Hip Hop is about taking the joys and pains of life and using a God given talent in a way that everyone can relate to and be entertained by. Hip Hop takes on the soul of its vessel and expresses emotions and feelings in a way that moves people. Whether it be physically or mentally hip hop has and will always be a vehicle to reach anyone in need of hop[e].
Hip Hop[e] is takes some sole searching too. Hip Hop[e] is about taking something we talk about and incorporate on a daily basis and giving life to someone else just by what you have in your possession already. A3C sneaker heads and hip hop lovers, artists, and family, without a doubt, have the potential to put a huge dent in this 11K.
Today only from 11a-4p we will be hosting a shoe drive @A3C. The collection bin will be at the registration booth upon entry. 3MG Studios is sponsoring a 3 hour studio giveaway to the donor with the freshest collection of shoes donated. Stay tuned on Twitter for twitpics and RT your favorites. Doors open at 11a and competition cut off is at 4p. The winner will be announced Sunday, October 9th.
