A few days back, Nas paid tribute to the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep the best way he could. According to a swarm of social updates, Nas took the stage at the WOO HAH! Festival in the Netherlands and performed a rendition of Mobb Deep’s classic “Shook Ones, Pt. II.”

The two grew up in the Queensbridge housing projects together, and collaborated on several songs like *The Infamous’* “Eye for an Eye (Your Beef Is Mine),” *It Was Written’s* “Live Nigga Rap” and *Hell On Earth’s* “Give It Up Fast.” According to [Complex](http://www.complex.com/music/2017/06/prodigy-funeral-service-new-york-city-open-to-the-public), Prodigy’s family and closest friends gave a special public funeral service June 29 in a New York City chapel. That same day in an Instagram post, Nas said he wished to be in America to see Prodigy off.
