He Might Just Be The Blacc Jon Gotti: Skooly

Written by Cora Taft | Sep 29

Skooly is a 22 yea-old, Atlanta native, who is the co-founder of Hip-Hop duo, Rich Kidz which formed in 2008. He is also known as Skateboard Skooly and The Blacc Jon Gotti. He is a cutting edge artist who is making his round around the game. He has tattoos and a nice smile but he makes music for the trap.

Being from Atlanta makes him a great candidate for the A3C Festival & Conference because he knows the city and the how the music culture has developed here over the years.

Skooly released a solo EP called “The Blacc Jon Gotti” in 2015. On “The Blacc Jon Gotti”, some songs were produced by Metro Boomin, London [ on da track], Fresh Jones and Dun Deal. The songs on the EP are raw and definitely club bangers.

Rich Kidz debut EP, “Yars”, was released on Columbia records. It was released to digital retailers in 2014.

As a solo artist Skooly released Trech Gotti February. It includes six tracks titled “Bankroll” and “10 Deep”.

Skooly has an apparel line with merchandise that says “I [heart] Skooly,”, and “The Westside will never be the same”. It includes shirts and hoodies for fans to purchase.

He is affiliated with C.C.M. / T.R.U. / Street Execs.

Skooly will be at Who Got The Sauce? presented by Zaytoven & Digital Dope on Thursday October 6th @ 10:00 PM. The location is Cafe Circa (Old 4th Ward).
