Did you know that your health is extremely valuable? It’s worth millions! Seriously, 8.1 million people don’t believe they are diabetic and 1.5 million people have heart attacks. The tough reality is that most people don’t take care of the body we have. Heveal Kelli, Cardiologist at Emory University, said that prevention starts with knowledge.
If we don’t know, how can we change?
Prima Sanders, a member in the A3C Festival & Conference, was the youngest on the panel but had already been faced with life-changing medical issues. Sanders, like most, lived an unhealthy lifestyle by eating junk foods but she had to have a small case of open heart surgery to unclog her arteries.
How to Make Health a Habit:
Don’t be a statistic! Take the initiative and learn more about the foods you consume, get tested to see if you have a disease and if so, take care of yourself. Too many young people are dying before their life expectancy because of poor health.
Thank you to Raychell LeBlanc, Heval Kelli, Prima Sanders, Deniece Grffin and Tim GilChrist for sharing great information with the audience.
