The Atlanta Film Society is teaming with A3C this year to throw a number of events for guests working in film and gaming industry. There will be various events held at Joystick Gamebar during the festival, here's a list of cool events for gamers and film fans to attend.
1. Music Video Director's Showcase with Motion Family Presented by Atlanta Film Society
The music video industry is a large industry that’s filled with many talented directors. The Music Video Director’s Showcase will present some of the directors working in Hip-hop from the Motion Family. This full production company has worked with the greats such as T.I., Nicky Minaj, Big Boy, Gucci Mane and countless others. Diwang Valdez will also be in attendance, don’t miss the chance to meet these reputable creatives.
2. Virtual Reality Demo presented by Atlanta Film Society
Atlanta Film Society demos their first virtual reality set during A3C at Joystick Gamebar. This will be an experience to remember!
3. Happy Hour at Joystick Gamebar
The happy hour at Joystick Gamebar is the perfect way to network with other people in the film and video industry. Come join a group of like-minded individuals at the two different happy hours on Thursday and Friday.
4. Throwback Television Marathon presented by Atlanta Film Society
Throwback Television Marathon will feature some of your favorite #TBT shows from the 80’s and 90’s. This marathon will headline episodes from the Fresh Prince of BelAir, A Different World, Martin and more.
5. [Screening] HOUSE PARTY presented by Atlanta Film Society
Atlanta Film Society will have an intimate screening of the original hit film, House Party. This film features rappers Kid ‘N Play and sourounds the crazy situations they go through to throw a house party while Play’s parents are out of town. Come grab a drink and network with industry folks to watch this Hip-hop classic.
