I received an email this morning that made my day.  Marco Pave submitted to perform at A3C through Sonicbids and was selected to perform by the fans.  He wanted me to know that he had just booked his first tour, and he credits his experience at A3C with helping make it happen.  This is why we produce A3C Festival & Conference, and I never get tired of hearing these stories.  Come to A3C to build your network, learn from experts in their field and create new content.  If you peform, that's a bonus.  He wanted me to share his story, and I was more than happy to do just that.

I really appreciated the opportunity to come out and officially perform at A3C 2016. It was amazing, that really help boost my career and helped me secure lasting relationships. At A3C I went to a about touring, I had recently booked my first successful tour. After that panel I had enough knowledge and insight to make it happen again, this time on a larger level. Alfred Banks and I joined forces and booked this whole tour together.

River Kings Tour Purpose:

The River Kings Tour is a platform for independent southern artist, created by independent southern artists; Specifically artists born and raised alongside the Mighty Mississippi. Thinking back on the traditional southern music forms, like blues and jazz, the forefathers and foremothers created what is known today as the Chitlin Circuit to spread their music and messages. The River Kings Tour is the chitlin circuit brought to the 21st century. The River Kings Tour provides an educational component by collaborating with scholars such as Kiese Laymon and Dr. Bettina Love. These scholars spark intellectual conversations with the artists and communities involved. The tour also provides an entertainment component with some of the most talented hip-hop artists, Djs, and musicians coming together to put on great shows for a wide demographic. The tour also provides an entrepreneurial component by putting the control back into the artist’s hands. They are booking the shows, selling the merchandise, and most importantly keeping the profits.
