Nearly every music conference we've been to focuses on Networking & Learning, both of which are extremely important and are core principles of the A3C Conference.
Story Premiered on Creative Loafing
You have to understand the business and continue to LEARN about trends, technology and best practices. You also have to NETWORK with people that can help you grow your career. Conferences often have fun events and parties (which are part of networking), but the conference experience usually stops there. Until now!
After speaking with hundreds of artists, we’ve identified a major issue within the creative realm. We’ve always believed gathering thousands of music makers and creatives in one city presented the perfect opportunity to CREATE! And now, we're putting our money where our mouth is.
The Problem: Independent hip-hop artists have limited time and resources. They often spend a majority of their time writing and recording music and far too little resources on their brand and creative assets. It can be both overwhelming and expensive.
Our Solution: Connect artist with professional creatives to review and develop assets that independent hip-hop artists can use to help their careers. Artists can create - and own - tangible media assets to better present themselves, connect with fans and further their careers.
The Creator Complex is powered by iStandard Producers.
The Creator Complex will provide talented independent artists and producers with the opportunity to work with audio engineers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers and creatives.

"Georgia State University's Creative Media Industries Institute is delighted to be partnering with A3C for the first ever launch of The Creator Complex. Our new creative content facility is a perfect place to showcase A3C high technology events. And it enables our many talented students to directly connect with the hip-hop world's most gifted artists and producers. It’s a perfect fit, and we’re looking forward to hosting Atlanta’s creative community, many of whom have been trained in GSU’s media, arts and music programs." - Steve Jones (Professor of Practice at Creative Media Industries Institute)
