People typically say there are "six degrees of separation," especially in the world of entertainment and music. However, with PR veteran Dee Dee Cocheta Williams, only about one or two of those degrees exist. Dee Dee was a major conduit in the hip hop and music industry in Atlanta, so much so, she was appropriately given the nickname, "Hip Hop Mama." On January 9, 2014, our "Hip Hop Mama" passed away after a courageous fight against Stage 4 breast cancer. This Saturday (July 12) at the Riverdale Regional Park (Riverdale, Georgia) the Queens Never Quit Walk will honor and celebrate the life of Dee Dee Cocheta Williams and her legacy.

Publicity continues on as a public relations and marketing consulting firm specializing in lifestyle, entertainment, sustainability and multicultural demographics.

Dee Dee worked with an extensive list of artists, record labels and entertainment companies. Dee Dee generously served her community, working with organizations such as Hosea Feed the Hungry, Tupac Amaru Shakir Foundation, Ryan Cameron Foundation, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes Foundation, and the Democratic National Committee. Dee Dee was a leader, mentor and motivator to many.
