Boog Brown is a Detroit native, who eventually decided to move to Atlanta for change. Boog is not just an emcee, but a poet and publisher as well. She released a mixtape, entitled “The Grind Season” in Early 2010 with tracks like The Essence, Dope Girl Magic and The Mirror, she collaborated with Hip-Hop artists and producers including Illastrate, Rita J, Aarophat, Apollo Brown, Invincible, Stahhr, Methuzulah, and 14KT, who describes her voice as “the illest.”

Recently, Brown’s classic track “The Essence” appeared on BET’s documentary “My Mic Sounds Nice”. Ms. Brown describes her debut album “Brown Study” (Mello Music Group), a collaborative project with Hip-Hop producer Apollo Brown, as the “most vulnerable” she has been musically. Boog has also just made the I-tunes best album list for 2010. Boog Brown is well on her way to endless success & much fame.
