Scheduled for Summer of 2010, AZ is set to release the follow-up to 1995's Doe or Die with Doe or Die 2 (DOD2). The Brooklyn-born emcee is even revisiting many of the first album's collaborators as well as introducing newer sounds to his arsenal. According to HipHopWired he also wants an AZ/Nas reconnect as established on Nas's debut album, Illmatic.
With collaborators ranging from L.E.S. and Pete Rock to DJ Toomp and RZA, DOD2 may just keep NYC's current streak on a good pace.
