WORDSMITH is very accomplished in his personal & professional life with a B.A. in Theatre & an independent label, NU Revolution Entertainment LLC & internet station, Revoltradio.com under his belt. As a universal artist, Word has marketing deals with Joint One LLC in Japan, Prowax/Sony, GoDigital, & Red Eye. Quite the business man, Word also books DJ’s for Hip-Hop Weekly Magazine, releases mixtapes through Frostwire.com, HipHopdx, Coast 2 Coast , 2DopeBoyz and has worked with heavyweight producers like Streetrunner & Drum Majors ATL to name a few. These deals afforded Word the opportunity to score music for Sega’s “Madworld,” have his music licensed in all 19 Six Flag theme parks in the US/Canada, release a collaboration album with the Legendary Chubb Rock called “Bridging the Gap” that charted on the CMJ/Top 30 College Charts , while his debut album “Vintage Experience, ” scored two singles, Hook-Up Hotline & Tour Guide to New Bride, on the Mediabase Indie/Radiowave/Mediaguide charts. On the performance tip, Wordsmith has played major festivals/shows like Artscape, A3C, SoB’s, The Temple Bar, Love, Sonar and many more.
