Taking a slightly different course this year, The 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors will pay tribute to The Dirty South and several of the key players in and around the genre/region. Amongst the numerous honorees are Jermiane Dupri, founder of So So Def. As well as Atlanta-based Organzied Noize, part of The Dungeon Family collective.
