A3C Alumni: Killer Mike

Written by The Blog Team | Feb 18

Today, we're paying our respects to one of the founding forefathers of Atlanta's revolutionary Hip-Hop movement. Killer Mike is not only one of the most political rappers in the game, but at this moment he's undeniably the biggest -- no pun intended. Since making his debut on Outkast's "Snappin and Trappin" back in 2000, Killer Mike has put more effort into building his own fan base of socially conscious fans than most rappers could ever imagine. Since taking the A3C stages back in 2008, then again in 2009 and every year following, his performances are always a hip hop rave. Last year he shut down A3C alongside Big Boi at the BET Music Matters showcase, then again at Terminal West with Gza, and he also managed to be on the Combat Jack Show during a live festival recording. You never know what to expect from a Killer Mike show, but you know to expect a memorable experience, that leaves you looking forward to next year!

Make sure you watch some of the videos of his past performances below, so you have a damn good idea of what NOT to miss this year! #A3C2013
