The Hip-Hop Artist's Guide to Music Conferences

Written by Mike Walbert | Jun 19

If you’re an artist or involved in the music industry, it’s important to continue to build your network and learn about the business. The music industry is rapidly evolving and if you don’t know what’s happening around you, you’ll likely miss out on opportunities. There are a lot of conferences around the world that enable you to learn from and network with industry veterans. Each event is unique and provides a different experience, so you’ll need to do some research before deciding which are worthwhile.

You may have noticed that there aren’t a lot of conferences specifically for hip-hop. We noticed the same thing in 2008 when we first decided to transform the A3C Festival into the A3C Festival & Conference. We set out to produce the largest and most important conference in hip-hop, and today, there isn’t a more essential event for hip-hop artists, music industry figures and entrepreneurs to attend.

With that said, we’ve listed 16 very different conferences (in alphabetical order) that you should know about.
