You may have heard of Roman GianArthur in conjunction with artist Janelle Monae, Jidenna and Deep Cotton but he is an artist that you need to know. This R&B artist is also a producer arranger, and performer. Roman is influenced by Ennio Morricone to Stevie Wonder.

Raised in Winston-Salem, NC known as the home of Krispy Kreme Donuts and also the “Tre-Fo” because of the high crimes rates, he excelled above the stereotypes. He has an cool and creative style of dress that goes along with eh Wondaland Records artist.

Roman plays multiple instruments including guitar and piano. He has production credits on The ArchAndroid and The Electric Lady which are both CD’s by Janelle Monae. If he’s not working with Janelle, he’s dropping guest verses with Jidenna.

Roman released OK Lady, which is an EP of songs filled with a variety of emotions and empathy by Radiohead and D’Angelo. The project sold 500+ copies single handled before the official release happened and it is currently free.

Roman is extremely innovative and inspiring in the R&B industry and also when it comes to redefining what it truly means to be an artist.

Roman will be performing at RnBUntapped on Friday October, 7th @ 8:00 PM at Music Room presented by Boost Mobile (Old 4th Ward).

Make sure you check Roman GianArthur out during A3C Festival and Conference.
