A few days back, Nas paid tribute to the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep the best way he could. According to a swarm of social updates, Nas took the stage at the WOO HAH! Festival in the Netherlands and performed a rendition of Mobb Deep’s classic “Shook Ones, Pt. II.”

The two grew up in the Queensbridge housing projects together, and collaborated on several songs like The Infamous’ “Eye for an Eye (Your Beef Is Mine),” It Was Written’s “Live Nigga Rap” and Hell On Earth’s “Give It Up Fast.” According to Complex, Prodigy’s family and closest friends gave a special public funeral service June 29 in a New York City chapel. That same day in an Instagram post, Nas said he wished to be in America to see Prodigy off.
