Bye-Bye Summer '16: Fall Album Releases are about to bring the Real Heat

It’s time to let go of Summer ’16 and to prepare for these Fall ’16’s most anticipated album releases.  Usher, Ty Dolla $ign and Gucci Mane, just to name a few are taking over Fall 2016 with brand new releases coming very soon.

Hard II Love: Usher, September 16

After a four-year hiatus, Usher brings us his eighth studio album titled Hard II LoveHard II Love is said to have a more urban sound than Usher’s past few projects.  The first single No Limit featuring Young Thug still sits in the top 40 of Billboard’s Hot 100 and top 5 on the Hip-hop/R&B charts.   The album is now streaming on Tidal, but will be officially released to the public on Friday, September 16.

 2. 90951: Audio Push, September 23

Now Indie artists, Audio Push creates a more authentic sound on their album 90951.  The album name comes from a combination of their 909 and 951 area codes.  The area codes represent who they were and where they came from before they’re label made them into something they were not.  On August 4, 2016, Audio Push released a trailer for the album set to release September 23.  Their first two singles Spread the Love and Control us are just a taste of what this album will bring.  90951 will feature sounds from BJ the Chicago Kid, Music Soulchild and Hit-Boy.  They are bringing the soul back to Hip-hop.

3. Campaign: Ty Dolla $ign, September 23

After being a recurring feature on many artist’s songs, Ty Dolla $ign is finally getting his time to shine.  The 16- song project features Future, Travis Scott and also Big TC.  He released the third single, Zaddy on August 26, following singles No Justice and Campaign featuring Future.  Ty wooed the ladies with his Free TC album in 2015, and he’ll probably do it again.

 4. 1992: The Game, October 7

The Game’s new album, 1992 circles around Game’s experiences living in Compton that year.  The album cover depicts images of events occurring in 1992.  Although Game was only 12, many tragic and well-known events like the OJ Simpson Case, police brutality and gang wars surrounded his life. Game said this album is for the true fans, which could explain why there are no features.

5. MC4: French Montana, October 14

French Montana is set to release his sophomore album in the second week of October.  The album MC4 features guest appearances from Drake, Kanye West, Miguel, Nas, Jadakiss and more.  Although MC4 was leaked back in August, LA Reid pushed the release back to gain more hype for the album.  This album comes as the fourth edition of the “Mac & Cheese” series, but as the first official album. 

 6. Woptober: Gucci Mane, October 17

Just released from prison in May 2016, Gucci Mane is already set a date for his second album release of 2016.  Gucci Mane and his producer, Zaytoven have been teasing the hashtag #Woptober for some time now, and the date for it has finally been released.  The first single off the album is Last Time, featuring Travis Scott.
