Atlanta-based DJ, Princess Cut is taking over the airwaves and DJ sets at events and festivals across the country.  Her diversity in music and her constant drive to expand her empire has led her to being one of the top female DJs in the country.

DJ Princess Cut fell in love with music at a young age, but never imagined that she would pursue a career as a DJ.  When she was younger, she attended a summer party and became fascinated with the vinyl records and how the disk jockey operated.    She began to look into the art of Dj-ing, and six months later she purchased her first turn table.

She’s a true ATL-ien influenced by Outkast, Goodie Mob, The Dungeon Family and more.  The College Park native used her influences to work her way from the bottom to the top as a self-taught disk jockey. Guided by manager and publicist, Tamiko Hope, Princess Cut has been able to expand her career well beyond the Hip-hop scene in Atlanta. Her hours of practicing mixes daily led to her traveling the world DJ-ing with legends like Cee-Lo Green, Goodie Mob and The Dream.

In addition to spinning regularly at Hot 107.9 and Neiman Marcus Atlanta, Cut also hosts her own YouTube channel, Sweet Box TV.  This channel gave her the platform to be able to showcase Atlanta artists and DJs, such as Trinidad James, Big K.R.I.T and DJ Diabase, in an interview setting.

Cut, Hoodrich Entertainment’s first lady’s alter ego, Sweet Box Jones always brings the heat to all of her DJ sets.  In 2014, she toured the country as Oprah’s DJ on her Life You Want Tour. She’s since spun at One Music Fest, SXSW and every second Wednesday at El Bar for her Hoodhouse event.  She showcases her musical diversity in her DJ sets, playing anything from Old-School Hip-hop to Trap and from Funk to EDM.

Princess Cut has truly earned her title as 2X female DJ of the Year.  This year, she returns back to her roots in Atlanta as she spins in the heart of her city.  Princess Cut aka Sweet Box Jones will make her appearance at A3C this year at #JuiceA3C on Thursday, October 6 at Café Circa.
