Artist manager, event host and CEO of Schweinbeck, LLC., Diana Schweinbeck is an influential Hip-hop curator in Atlanta.   She began her career in Hip-hop at age 20 when she began working at FYF Entertainment.  After graduating from Georgia State University with a business degree, she founded her own management and artist branding company.  She currently manages artists such as Sy Ri Tha Kid, Damar Jackson, Kato and more.

Schweinbeck shared her excitement about the debut of her monthly mixer event, The Fanbase at A3C this year.  The concept behind The Fanbase is to give artists a platform to learn how to build their own fan base.  The event begins with a panel that features Hip-hop influencers and then ends with an open mic night/showcase.  The Fanbase will take place at A3C Thursday, October 6 at 10:00 p.m. at Opus Lounge.  The strong lineup for the event includes Sy Ri Tha Kid, Starlito, Scotty ATL, Damar Jackson, Sossamann, Oj Da Juiceman, Project Pat and more.

Aside from her first event at A3C, Schweinbeck also will be participating in the panel, Women at Work: Entrepreneurship in Hip-hop at the Conference.  This panel will take place Wednesday October 5 at 6:30 p.m. in room two of the Loudermilk Center.  As one of the featured curators of A3C, Schweinbeck is someone to check out at this year’s festival.

What is the concept behind for your showcase for A3C?

The concept behind "The Fanbase" is an opportunity for artists to learn how to build a proper fanbase and also learn how important having a fanbase is. With the event starting with an informative panel with some amazing influencers in the industry then turning into an open mic where artists have the opportunity to build/show their fanbase.

Describe your showcase in three dope words?

supportive networking education

What is going to set your showcase apart from hundreds of other events happening during the festival? Our showcase will be different due to our amazing line-up and also our panel plays a very important role in our event which helps us provide education to those artists instead of just an opportunity to see an amazing show.

What can attendees expect to see at your showcase?

A great show & a very educational panel.

What artists will performing at your showcase?

Sy Ari Da Kid, Starlito, Damar Jackson, Scotty ATL, Project Pat, Sosamann, OJ Da Juiceman

Are there any surprises or pop-ups that might take place on-site during your show?

Of course :)

What kind of experience do you want fans to leave with after attending your showcase?

I want them to leave The Fanbase with more knowledge of the industry and insight on how important building/having a fanbase is.

Where can fans stay connected with you on social media?

On IG: @schweinbeck @thacoolclub @thefanbaseatlanta

On twitter: @schweinbeck @thacoolclub @thefanbaseatl

What are a few tips you can share for upcoming promoters and curators wanting to work in the music business? Stay consistent and create something that no one else is doing!

What are you looking forward to the most this year at A3C 2016? We are looking forward to throwing our very first showcase & panel at this year's A3C! We want to thank A3C again for the opportunity.
