maxresdefault_6.jpgAs we get closer to the festival this Fall, you may be wondering what you need to be doing to prepare for it.

1. Purchases your A3C passes!

The main pass is the Festival & Conference pass.  This pass gives access to all events, performances, workshops, panels and more throughout the festival. The conference pass is strictly for people who just want to attend the panels, workshops and mixers. Conference pass holders don’t get access to the festival grounds nor events.  The Festival pass works similarly, guests will have access to the shows and events, but not to the conference center. There are also VIP and single day passes available on the A3C Festival & Conference Website.  The prices go up September 23, so it’s best to get passes soon.

2. Secure Hotel Accommodations

The host hotel for A3C is the Doubletree Atlanta Downtown, but these rooms will fill up fast.  If the Doubletree is not an option, there are also many other hotels that are close, even walking distance from the conference center and festival grounds.  There are also a ton of Airbnb options across Atlanta.

3. Submit to Perform

It’s not too late to apply on Sonic Bids to earn a spot on an A3C stage!  Although there is now a fee to apply, there are still new performers chosen every week.  Visit Sonic Bids to apply

4. Check out A3C’s website and blog for cool events, performances and panels to attend

Check the schedule page to find more information about the dope events to attend. There are schedules already posted on the site and they are updated daily.  Scroll through the list of professionals that will be making appearances at the festival.  Coordinate a personal schedule so you won’t miss out on the events you want to attend.

5. Make extra copies of your business cards

A3C Festival & Conference will obviously be lots of fun, but it’s also important to take time to network and get some great contacts.  Having business cards or other promotional giveaways is an easy way to keep in touch with the people that you meet at the mixers, panels and workshops.  Be sure to find a way to make people remember you (in a positive light!) at the festival.  Make sure to have enough to last the entire festival and to use this opportunity to build relationships the industry newcomers and vets.

6. Download the A3C app!

With the official A3C app, you’ll have access to everything that’s going on at the festival in real time.  If you need updates on performances or panel times, pull up the app.  The A3C app will also help navigate guests around the festival grounds and even give suggestions of places to eat and drink in the area.
