Written by Allison Hazel | Sep 23

Calling all producers, engineers, songwriters, and DJ’s!

A3C’s Pro-Audio sessions are a unique experience tailored for music makers. This year we have several workshops, panels, showcases, live interviews—and great networking opportunities. What makes the Pro-Audio programming unique is the intimate and interactive atmosphere. Here are some sessions you definitely don’t want to miss!

Contracts & Commitments Pt. 1&2

This two-part session will be covering one of the most imperative topics in the industry—contracts. Contracts & Commitments is the perfect class for producers and artists that would like to get a clear understanding of contracts. Topics include percentage breakdowns, securing talent, finder’s fees, royalties, album points and other legalities.

Placing Your Record

Ray Daniels, Courtney "Cizzurp" Carroll, and Bryan-Michael Cox are giving A3C attendees the inside scoop on Placing Your Record. So, if you’re wondering how to get your record in the right hands, be sure to catch some words of wisdom from these music industry veterans.

How To Sell Beats Online

Presented by BeatStars.com CEO Abe Batshon, this session will cover everything you need to know about marketing and licensing your beats online. Abe Batshon will also teach attendees how to utilize social media and the BeatStars platform. This is the perfect session for producers who want to promote their music and generate revenue.

The New ATL

Atlanta rappers bring a unique sound to the game, which is recognized across the country.  The New ATL will discuss the “new sound of Atlanta” with some of the hottest ATL producers. The line up features Versatile Traxx, Black Metaphor, Courtney "Cizzurp" Carroll, and Fuse.

The Score: Breaking Down The Classic Fugees Album

The Score changed the game in 1996 with instrumentation that crossed-over into genres outside of Hip Hop. Producer Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis will speak exclusively about the making of the classic Fugees album.
