3 New Tracks from A3C Volume 7 (available on 12/5)

Today, the A3C and iHipHop Distribution are proud to premiere three new tracks from the seventh annual A3C compilation album, A3C Volume 7. A3C Volume 7 marks the seventh year that the A3C Festival & Conference and iHipHop Distribution have joined forces, continuing the highly-regarded series. 

This year's compilation will continue to spotlight the genre’s foremost emerging artists with approximately 50 tracks from the newest generation of hip-hop's torchbearers. A3C Volume 7 will be available worldwide on December 5th via A3C / iHipHop Distirbution

 

Yutes – “Trap Don Dadas” (prod. prodbykendox)

Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Yutes are effortlessly blending Jamaican dancehall, reggae and trap music. As brothers growing up in Kingston, Santris and ChrisNewImage were exposed to music from an early age, as their father is renowned dancehall artist Mr. Lexx. Although they’ve traveled back-and-forth to visit relatives throughout the years, Yutes has recently moved to the US to pursue music fulltime. At just twenty years old, the brother’s sound is epitomizes their group’s name as Yutes is Jamaican Patois slang for “the Youth.” Today, Yutes has released their new track “Trap Don Dadas” produced by prodbykendox, which will appear on A3C Volume 7.

 

Terrance Escobar – “Too Solid” (prod. RXLVND)

20 year-old Norcross, Georgia artist, Terrance Escobar has cultivated a loyal following since hitting the scene with his breakthrough single “*iSKKKRRRTTT*” and subsequent *Pressure* EP. Today, Terrance has teamed up with frequent collaborator RXLVND for the infectious banger “Too Solid” from A3C Volume 7.

 

Spell Jordan ft Squidnice – “Everything” (prod. Kid Ocean)

Spell Jordan is a twenty-one year-old Washington DC transplant, originally from Philadelphia. As a collaborator of Lil Xan, Matt Ox, GYYPS, and Smokeasac, Spell has created a built a unique following in the DMV area. On “Everything,” spell is joined by Staten Island sensation Squidnice for the A3C Volume 7 cut. Spell recently co-hosted the DC event for the late Lil Peep’s Come Over When You’re Sober Tour and he is gearing up for a December 1st performance with Robb Bank$ and Kid Trunks at Tropicalia. Spell’s upcoming album Trap Art features Squidnice, LilCandyPaint, Frander, Lil Percy, Rose., and Egodeath and hits stores on December 1st. It’s currently avaialable for Spotify pre-order here.

 

The A3C compilation series has been influential within the genre, serving as a barometer to gauge which artists will become renowned staples in the ever-changing hip-hop landscape. Past compilation artists include G-Eazy, Curren$y, Action Bronson, Big K.R.I.T, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown, Underachievers, Smoke DZA, Trademark Da Skydiver, Freddie Gibbs, Sir Michael Rocks, Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, Dave East, Thouxanbanfauni, Robb Bank$, Michael Christmas, Tunji Ige, Manolo Rose, and Trinidad James, just to name a few.  For this reason, the compilation has seen praise from various outlets including Apple, as its editors raved, “the A&R rep has done a commendable job, cherry-picking some of the most promising, would-be rap stars from countless wannabes.”
